Description
The Druck PV621-IS is an intrinsically safe pneumatic pressure generating base station designed for accurate pressure generation and calibration in hazardous (Ex) environments. As part of the Druck Genii Advanced Modular Calibration System, it can operate as a standalone pressure generator or be combined with the DPI620G-IS multifunction calibrator and PM620-IS pressure modules to create a fully integrated intrinsically safe pressure calibration system. It is ATEX, IECEx and regional hazardous-area certified for use in oil & gas, petrochemical and process industries.
The PV621-IS generates pressures from 95% vacuum to 20 bar (300 psi) using a manual hand pump with an integrated pressure/vacuum selector and precision volume adjuster. Its innovative design requires approximately half the pumping effort of conventional hand pumps while providing precise fine pressure control for calibrating transmitters, gauges, switches and pressure sensors. It also functions as a bench-top pressure comparator when used with a reference gauge or calibrator.
The base station features a tool-free quick-fit pressure connection system, rugged anti-static construction and compatibility with Druck intrinsically safe pressure modules. It eliminates the need for gas bottles in many field applications, improving both safety and portability
