Description
The Druck PV621-IS is an intrinsically safe pneumatic pressure generating base station designed for pressure generation and calibration applications in hazardous areas. It generates pressure from 95% vacuum up to 20 bar (300 psi) using a manual hand pump, providing a portable and efficient alternative to conventional hand pumps.
The pressure station features an integrated volume adjuster and pressure/vacuum selector for fast pressure generation and precise adjustment. Its self-contained design allows stand-alone use as a pressure generator or bench-top comparator for testing and calibrating pressure instruments.
As part of the Druck Genii Advanced Modular Calibration System, the PV621-IS can be combined with a compatible PM620-IS pressure module and DPI620G-IS multifunction calibrator to create a fully integrated intrinsically safe pressure calibration system. The quick-fit pressure connection system enables fast, tool-free connection to the device under test without sealing tape.
Designed for demanding industrial environments, the PV621-IS is ATEX, IECEx and ETL intrinsically safe approved for use in specified hazardous locations. It is suitable for calibrating pressure transmitters, gauges, switches, sensors and other process instruments.
