Description
The Druck PV623-IS is an intrinsically safe hydraulic pressure generating base station designed for high-pressure calibration in hazardous (Ex) environments. As part of the Druck Genii Advanced Modular Calibration System, it operates as a standalone hydraulic pressure generator or integrates with the DPI620G-IS multifunction calibrator and PM620-IS pressure modules to create a complete intrinsically safe pressure calibration system. Certified for ATEX, IECEx and regional hazardous-area use, it is ideal for oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical processing and other hazardous industrial applications.
The PV623-IS generates hydraulic pressure from 0 to 1000 bar (15,000 psi) using an innovative dual-stage pressure generation system that combines a manual hand pump with a precision screw press. This design enables rapid pressure generation, fine pressure adjustment and stable pressure within one minute, eliminating the need for conventional hydraulic hand pumps and complex priming procedures. It also functions as a bench-top hydraulic comparator for pressure calibration and testing.
Designed for portability and ease of use, the PV623-IS features a tool-free quick-fit pressure connection system, a 100 cm³ hydraulic reservoir compatible with demineralized water or low-viscosity mineral oil, and rugged anti-static construction for safe operation in hazardous locations.
