Description
The Druck ADTS 553F is a portable, self-contained three-channel Pitot Static Tester and Air Data Test Set designed for aircraft pitot-static testing, air data validation, leak testing, fault finding and avionics instrumentation testing.
The ADTS 553F provides the same two-channel pitot-static capability as the ADTS 552F, with an additional third pressure controller for connection to the aircraft’s second static pressure channel (Ps2). This enables simulation and testing of Angle of Attack (AOA) systems. The unit can also be configured through the ADTS Touch menu for standard two-channel pitot-static testing.
Advanced Druck TERPS® pressure sensor technology delivers the accuracy and long-term stability required for RVSM validation. Proportional pressure control combined with a high-capacity internal pump provides smooth pressure changes when testing aircraft with large pitot-static volumes.
The supplied ADTS Touch hand terminal allows technicians to operate the tester remotely from the aircraft cockpit using secure Bluetooth® wireless communication or a wired connection. Programmable aircraft safety limits, automatic leak recovery and stored test sequences help improve testing efficiency and protect connected aircraft systems.
Designed for changing aircraft maintenance requirements, the ADTS 553F can be retrospectively upgraded by Druck to the four-channel ADTS 554F configuration
