Description
The Druck ADTS 552F is a portable, self-contained two-channel Pitot Static Tester and Air Data Test Set designed for accurate testing, calibration and leak checking of aircraft pitot-static systems and avionics equipment.
The system connects to the aircraft static (Ps) and pitot (Pt) ports through hoses and accurately controls pressures to simulate altitude, airspeed and rate of climb. Its advanced Druck TERPS® pressure sensor technology provides the accuracy and long-term stability required for RVSM validation and demanding aircraft maintenance applications.
The ADTS 552F uses proportional pressure control technology combined with a high-capacity internal pump to provide smooth and responsive pressure control, even when testing aircraft with large pitot-static volumes. Programmable aircraft safety limits, automatic leak recovery and stored test sequences help improve testing efficiency and protect connected aircraft systems.
Supplied with the ADTS Touch hand terminal, the tester can be operated remotely from the cockpit using secure Bluetooth® wireless communication or a wired connection. The rugged touchscreen interface provides intuitive navigation and allows technicians to control tests without running pressure hoses into the cockpit.
The ADTS 552F can be retrospectively upgraded by Druck to a three-channel ADTS 553F or four-channel ADTS 554F configuration as future aircraft testing requirements change.
